Sandry Law 在2023年秋天首次踏上滇西杉木豐茂的山坡，尋找一種如同它即將存放的茶葉般充滿生命力的材料。那裡的深山杉木 — 生長緩慢、樹脂豐富 — 長期被當地茶農家庭用來製作供佛香珠盒和嫁妝箱。Sandry 與昆明郊外一家家庭經營的木工廠合作，該廠將每塊木板風乾兩年，並淘汰任何在關鍵接合區域帶有節疤的板材。
回到 Teamotea 採購中心後，她為較乾燥的氣候設計了一款櫥櫃。她知道傳統的開放式層架會讓太多水分逸散。最終誕生的設計 — 一個帶磁吸門的密閉式櫥櫃，並設有隱藏的濕度卡插槽 — 是在昆明冬季進行數月原型測試後的成果，當時室內濕度可能驟降至 30% 以下。

The leaf, brewed

Exterior: smooth-sanded cedar with a vertical grain that catches light — a dry, camphoraceous whisper.
wet leaf
Interior after opening: a deeper, sweeter rush of cured cedar, warm and faintly spicy; the hush of air that hasn't moved in months.

Aging environment: temperature-stable interior, slow humidity exchange through natural wood pores, no off-gassing.
